In "Nightcrawler", Jake Gyllenhaal gives a transformative performance as creepy ambulance-chasing videographer Lou Bloom, whose ambition, greed, and lack of morals lead him to escalate his dangerous behavior so he can make bank off of gory footage for the "if-it-bleeds-it-leads" news. Lou's home base is an apartment in the Echo Park section of Los Angeles:
I was a huge fan of "Nightcrawler" and I wish it had gotten more love during awards season. Jake Gyllenhaal was amazing and the film is probably the most underrated of 2014. Here's my tribute to Lou:
