One of the major locations in the 2014 "Veronica Mars" movie was the loft where Gia Goodman lived. Not only did Gia host a class reunion after-party that was attended by most of the major players -- Veronica (Kristen Bell), Mac (Tina Majorino), Wallace (Percy Daggs III), Piz (Chris Lowell), Dick (Ryan Hansen), Cobb (Martin Starr), Luke (Sam Huntington) -- but it was also the setting for a major moment in the film's climax.
Veronica also set up shop across the way on a different building's roof to spy on Gia with binoculars and listening devices:
Both buildings can be found on Mateo Street -- look for the grid-style windows and, for the building where Veronica spies on the roof, look for the railings.
(The sun was super bright while we were taking photos - sorry!)
Fun fact: the interior of Gia's loft was also used as the interior of Mars Investigations -- to save time and money, producers used the same large warehouse-y space and just redecorated in between. However, the exterior of the movie's Mars Investigations was filmed nearby at a different building.
