STORY & PHOTOS
The Bluth family from FOX's "Arrested Development" spent a lot of time in court, since patriarch George Bluth (Jeffrey Tambor) was being charged with a litany of offenses, from business stuff to "light treason".
The exteriors of these court scenes were shot at Culver City Hall, which is very close to Culver Studios, which the show called home for its three-season run. You may recognize the exteriors from the times the Bluths walked in and out of court, or from when Michael (Jason Bateman), Gob (Will Arnett), and Buster (Tony Hale) got into a fight over Marta (Patricia Velasquez) and tussled all over the lawns in first-season episode "Beef Consomme":
Here are my photos:
Culver City Hall also made an appearance in a first-season episode of "Criminal Minds". It's where the BAU team met with the Los Angeles police while investigation the murders related to the stalker of Lila (Amber Heard).
It's also where Lila and Dr. Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler) say a cute goodbye at the end of the episode. Oh, Dr. Reid. SWOON. Culver City Hall is just down the street from the Culver Studios (where "AD" filmed), the Culver Hotel and several other locations from "Arrested Development".
