MTV's reality docu-drama "The Hills" filmed at real places in and around Los Angeles. In the Season 4 episode "I Heidi Take Thee Spencer", the notorious "Hills" villains Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt almost sealed the deal (after "eloping" in Mexico) by getting married at the Beverly Hills Municipal Court:

At the last minute they decided it wasn't quite what they wanted, and opted instead to wait and plan a "real" wedding that their friends and families could attend.
