Stacey's Streaming Recommendations

Netflix: You. Stacey is no stranger to boyfriend problems (hello, Robert) but I hope she never encounters stranger danger like Joe from You. She’d enjoy the first season’s use of her hometown and, of course, all the drama. I mean, let’s be honest - she probably should have been cast as Beck.

Hulu: Younger. New York City, romance, drama, pop culture references… hell yes, Stace is on board.

Disney+: Mary Poppins. The Julie Andrews classic is regularly mentioned in the series as Stacey’s favorite movie!

HBO: Sex and the City is the obvious choice for the sophisticated, fashion-conscious, and boy crazy.

CBS All Access: The First Wives’ Club. As boy crazy as Stacey may be, I like to think that if a boy crosses her she will swiftly deal with it by calling out his bullshit and using her girl gang to make positive change. Plus, I’d love to see her in Goldie Hawn’s white pantsuit from the final scene.

Amazon Prime: The Big Sick. Stacey’s struggle with diabetes is well-documented, so she can definitely relate to the character of Emily in The Big Sick. I also like to think that, like me, Stacey would be extremely and inexplicably attracted to Ray Romano.
