STORY & PHOTOS
You know what they say: "never trust a pretty girl with an ugly secret". One of the secrets of "Pretty Little Liars" is that the whole town of Rosewood is created on the Warner Brothers Studio lot in Burbank, CA. On the one hand, none of the places the girls go aren't real; on the other hand, you can visit them all by taking the Warner Brothers Studio tour.
In episode 103, "To Kill a Mocking Girl", the girls hit up Noel Kahn's party in the woods. The building used for Noel's cabin is in the jungle section of the Warner Brothers backlot, and it's actually the same building used as Merlotte's on "True Blood" and as the Rammer Jammer on "Hart of Dixie", not to mention that "Pretty Little Liars" actually used it in season two, as the creepy Lost Woods Resort.
The building is dressed up as a woodsy cabin in this episode, with some quintessential teen party elements like string lights. When it's not dressed up, it looks like this:
Nothing fancy. Each show makes it their own when they use it, but you can definitely tell it's the same one on all three shows. You can tell that for this "PLL" episode they also put down fake grass and a little wooden deck-like area to dress it up as a partyboy's cabin. Only the exterior was used for "Pretty Little Liars"; the interiors of Noel's cabin were likely filmed on WB sound stages.
