STORY & PHOTOS
In the first season of MTV's docu-series "Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life" (in episode 105), Ke$ha heads to a record store to buy her new album, Warrior. The clerk remembers her from when she came in to buy her first record and he pronounced her name "kee-sha" (which made me laugh because, let's be honest, no one knew how to pronounce her name when she first hit the scene).
The record store she goes to is a famous one: Amoeba Music in Hollywood.
This is a great place to shop for music and memorabilia. They have a huge selection and the staff is really nice.
The last time I was there I told the woman who cashed me out that I worked in an independent record store back in Maine, and she gave me a goodie bag with some free stickers and stuff. Super sweet!
