Kristy's Streaming Recommendations

Netflix: The Politician. Remember when Kristy ran for eighth-grade class president? She exudes that ruthless ambition energy in all aspects of her life, really.

Hulu: Scandal. Olivia Pope’s catchphrase “it’s handled” is right out of the Kristy Thomas handbook. And we know that Kristin Amanda Thomas is not afraid of getting her hands a little dirty.

Disney+: Adventures in Babysitting. Kristy’s whole life revolves around babysitting, and I’d guess that extends to the types of movies she’d watch. You just know the whole way through she’d be nitpicking every decision made and talking about how she could do it better.

HBO: Veep. You know Kristy has dreamt of being POTUS someday, and laughing at the bumbling behaviors of Selina Meyer and staff would feed into both her desire to be entertained and her smug sense of superiority.

CBS All Access: A League of Their Own is a no-brainer, given that Kristy coaches her own softball team, the Krushers.

Amazon Prime: Late Night. A young woman entering a boys-club industry and shaking things up a bit with new ideas? Absolutely.
