Coming-of-age rock'n'roll story "Almost Famous" stars a slew of famous faces, including Kate Hudson, Jimmy Fallon, Zooey Deschanel, Frances McDormand, and the late Philip Seymour Hoffman, and has a killer soundtrack. It's Cameron Crowe's love letter to the soundtrack of his life.
Starting in 1969 San Diego, young William (Michael Angarano), who yearns to be cool, must say goodbye to his super cool older sister Anita (Zooey Deschanel), who's moving out of their house.
The house where William lives with his overbearing mother Elaine (Frances McDormand) is a classically cute California bungalow, but the real house is located a bit north of San Diego, in Santa Monica.
It's been painted since filming, and they used a different door in the film, but it's definitely still the same cute little bungalow. Wonder if there's an awesome record collection under the bed?
