Wade and Zoe's Pond from "Hart of Dixie"

STORY & PHOTOS:
"Hart of Dixie" is all about Southern living... but it's not filmed in Alabama. The Bluebell scenes are filmed at Warner Brothers Studio in Burbank, CA.
In fictional Bluebell, there's a little pond between Zoe's carriage house and Wade's cabin. It made a pretty special appearance in episode 104, "In Havoc and In Heat", when Zoe fantasized about Wade walking slowly out of the water in a wet t-shirt.
Later in the same episode, Zoe proves to herself that she can be a little wild by jumping naked into the pond. Wade may have experienced a little fantasy of his own.
George and Lemon reconnected by skinny-dipping in the pond after dropping Wade off in the first-season episode "Aliens and Aliases":
This pond is on the Warner Brothers lot, back in the jungle area where Wade's cabin is. It really is just outside of the building used as Wade's cabin. (And actually, right on the other side of the pond is not Zoe's carriage house - it's the Rammer Jammer and the barn!) The pond stays empty when it's not being used for filming, and it takes a whole day to fill it up. (Luckily for the actors, they can control the temperature of the water so it won't be freezing.) The pond has also been seen on "True Blood", "Pretty Little Liars", "ER", and in the Budweiser commercial with the three frogs who say "Bud. Wei. Ser."
The pond and jungle area is a staple of the Warner Brothers VIP or Deluxe Tour, so if you take the tour you're nearly guaranteed to get a peek at this little waterway. I highly recommend the tour if you're a fan of "Hart of Dixie"! You'll spot a lot of places you recognize.
