Veronica Mars: sarcastic, whip-smart, loyal but prickly, and - oh yeah - a teenage detective. When Veronica wasn't at high school (ugh) or trying to solve her best friend's murder, she was working alongside her dad Keith, a former sheriff and licensed private investigator.
One of the shadier locations familiar to "Mars" fans is the Camelot Motel, where Neptune's unfaithful go to cheat on their spouses or have illicit meet-ups. In Episode 118, it's where federal agent Ben (guest star Jonathan Taylor Thomas, the original love of my life) takes Veronica when he catches her following him.
Standing in for the Camelot is the Navajo Lodge Motel in San Diego.
