He also runs into Gob (Will Arnett) and Tobias (David Cross) there, where he agrees to hear their coffee business plan (which they don't have):
The cafe used was Panini Coffee & Cafe in Marina del Rey:
It's a little lunch place reminiscent of a Panera Bread. Interiors were used for production. (They added a decal to the door window that said North Roast Coffee for the purposes of filming.)
