I recently moved to Huntington Beach, CA, and I am not working (since I'm finishing my master's thesis) and I barely know anyone. Solution? Go to every fun event that pops up! I saw that Bethenny Frankel of "Real Housewives" fame was doing a book signing at the local Barnes & Noble last night, so off I went.
She started out by talking a little bit about her book and its themes, and then she said, "I know you all want to know about the show, so go ahead and ask me about the show!" She answered some questions from the crowd about "RHONYC" and she was witty, funny, and down-to-earth the whole time. After the Q&A she signed copies of Skinnygirl Dish and was happy to pose for pictures with fans:
I really liked Bethenny. She was very cool to talk to and even tried to hook me up with a dude who was there after I told her I'd just moved to town and didn't know anybody. Hahaha... I could hang out with that girl.
